wut would win in a race a 2000 Ford Mustang or a 1999 BMW 318? lets just say there both stock.. which car would win in a race?

IN a straight line on a smooth road? The Ford.

On any road with curves or bumps? The BMW.
What engine in the Mustang? The 'Stang would probably win any drag race with any stock engine. But the Bimmer would slaughter the 'Stang in the twisties -- say Topanga Canyon Drive.
It depends on the race.... drag race goes to the mustang... no question.... circle track race... could be a toss up.... any other road course goes to the BMW
You do not say which engine is in the Mustang. I would assume you mean the six if you are racing against a 4 cylinder Beemer. In a straight line, I would expect the Mustang could out accelerate a 318ti but the Beemer will eat the Mustang alive on a twisty road.
the ford would not handle high speed as well, german cars in general can out perform, even though the mustang looks better on paper.
