For rear wheel drive luxury sporting sedans the Mercedes C Class and Lexus IS. Other than that not much because most are pseudo-sports cars like the Nissan/Infinity 350Z/G35 or modified front wheel Drive like the Audi/VW A4 or front wheel drive.
The 3 Series was and still is the class leader in this segment. From the economical base 4 cylinder through the diesels, convertibles, wagons on up to the mighty V8 M3 nothing really touches it.
