I drive a 323i here in Los Angeles and it is AWESOME. Let me tell you driving on the freeways in southern california, there are a lot of other ''wanna-bes'' (i.e. Acura Integra, Honda Accord, Ford Mustang, etc..), that TRY to cut me off...LOL. Here are 10 reasons that they should coughed up at least 10 grand more for a Beemer:

(1) quality: the materials and the quality of construction is top notch. cheap poorly screwed in plastic are not in BMWs but are common in many other cars.

(2) design: the car is designed from the ground up to be (not just look like) a superior driving machine. so when i'm zooming through the mountain road curves at at least 50 mph usually 60 or 70 and don't feel a loss of control (just a feeling of thrilling excitement, the type you get when you first go over top of a rollercoaster) then you know those BMW engineers must've been former rocket scientists.

(3) look: they must've hired people from the fashion industry, cuz it really looks like a beauty. mine has the factory spoiler and apron on the back and it is just a beauty. classy, not too gaudy.

(4) the interior: beautiful. you must get something lighter than a black interior to truely appreciate the fine lines of the design. Either tan or beige in leather is best. the worst is vinyl in black...ugh. the lighted panel is all orange glow, it's nice. you also (depending on trim) get reading lamps for every passenger front and back. The comfort/feel of the car is like you're in first class in an airplane with the leather seats. but the feeling when driving is that you're powered by a rocket/spaceship ...it's great.
