Lexus VS. BMW?

Im choosing between the Lexus IS F (coming out next year) and the BMW 335i. Which one would you choose and why?

They are called B-M-Trouble-U for a reason. Go with the Lexus. I found Lexus are giving a more quiet and smooth ride than any other competitor.

I have a 2000 323i and am therefore biased - but I'd would choose a BMW over any Lexus, any day, any year.

BMW has designed outstanding engines for a long time - check out the International Engine of the Year award and see which of the two companies engines have been higher rated for more years. The BMW family of inline 6 engines is legendary and almost bulletproof, and are unbelievable smooth running. (Due to the vee configuration, a V6 engine has an unbalanced firing order depending on the angle of the vee, whereas an inline or flat (boxer) six can be made to fire very smoothly on a 120 degree phase.) And the BMW engine has a nice flat torque curve throughout its RPM range with its dual VANOS variable-valve timing overhead camshafts. With its twin turbos (a small one for fast response at low RPMs and a larger one for the rest of power band) makes a very powerful engine, comparable to small V8.
