Help me please its like 113.00 dollars for the repair manual i need to know how to remove the door panal on my 1998 528i bmw it has the air bag in the door it is the drivers door panel. and i need to fix the power window and i dont have 113 dollars to buy the manual to remove it so please give some in depth details on how to remove it with out blowing the air bag. It would would be greatly appreaciated.

this is no problem you wili not blow the air bag
first you will need the proper tools an 8 and 9 mm deep well socket and a set of torx bits or drivers, you can get those at any parts store cheep
now you will need to remove the screws that hold on the door panel there is either for or five i get confused with the 99's sometimes, they are located in the door handel the arm rest and on the bottom of the door panel
next pull on the bottom of the door panel, give it a good tug if you have never removed it it will be tough,(if it is too hard to pull of check that yu ahve removed all the screws) now the panel should be hanging buy the top, just lift up and pull out at the same time.
now the panel should be off and just disconnect the wiring, on the air bag connector use a small screw driver to lift the flat part of the connecor first then pull it out, now remove the air bag by itself there is no electricity running to it you will be fine.
