Is a BMW a narrow car with little leg room?

My family is a bunch of Sicilians so we are taller and larger than most people, so we usually stick to the Mercedes. But is the BMW 7 series 750li have a lot of leg room in the back. And is it narrow.

Basically, the answer is no. It's neither narrow nor lacks leg room. In comparison to a Mercedes S-Class... the answer is still no.

2007 BMW 750Li dimensions in inches (L is long wheelbase version)

Legroom (Front) 41.3

Legroom (Row 2) 43.4

Shoulder Room (Front) 59.3

Shoulder Room (Row 2) 58.9

2007 Mercedes S550

Legroom (Front) 41.9

Legroom (Row 2) 42.3

Shoulder Room (Front) 59.1

Shoulder Room (Row 2) 58.7

They are essentially the same, except the BMW has 1.1" more leg room in the back but 0.6" less up front. The BMW also edges out the Mercedes on (interior) width just slightly.

Size aside, you'll find the BMW "drives" much better. More precise steering, better handling, better brakes, and slightly better mileage.

The Mercedes will give you a 7-spd AT (vs. BMW's 6-spd) and a little more HP.

BMW are luxury cars and all luxury cars are made for comfort. The 7 series is definetly a room car I have been in many, I'm only 5'11 but I felt like if they filled it with water I could swim in it.
What if someone says it is or it isn't, would you buy one based on that?
