I have a 1998 BMW 328is. It has a 11-Button On board Computer (OBC). I wanted to know if it is plug and play compatible with the 18-Button (OBC). If it not plug and play compatible is it possible to upgrade from the 11-Button to the 18-Button? Would all the functions work if it is possible to upgrade to the 18-button Computer? If not all functions will work then what functions will work? How do I remove the OBC without damaging it or its chassis?

It is possible. Ask your dealer about it. And yes, all the functions can upgrade.
I personally wouldn't even attempt removing the OBC myself. Like I said, a dealer is the best place to start, even for removal/replacement.
