It's your final stage(blower resistor). It's a known problem. About $90 + 1.5 hrs labor. They have updated this part.

Could be a couple of things. The switch it self could be bad. Also the blower motor could be bad. Also they have a resistor on the fan that does go bad. Take it to a BMW shop and have them check. The blower motor is a tough job. Good luck.
Bring the key so I can check it, and give it a drive..lol..machanics anyone?
i own a shop, and if you,ll get the owners manual out and look at it,it will show you where the fuse box is for it,it most likely has just blown a fuse, and isn't nothing to worry about there should be a few spare fuses in the holder for the fuse box, that will fit it,but that's probably all that is wrong with it,good luck,i hope this help,s.
Your car has a blower fan control relay/module. It is responsible for the fan operation. The part is available through your local BMW dealer parts dept.
