You can get a great new Mustang for under $30k. That will get you about 2/3 of a new BMW. Depends on how much you have to spend. Mustang is a great value. BMW = overpriced.

BMW, can't go wrong with german engineering. I like the styling better and much more luxurious with more options.
This comparison is apples to oranges. Do you want a luxury cruiser? Or something with more "brute" power (and modification potential)?
