Views on BMW Mini One?

What are your views on the BMW Mini One? If you have owned one, what is it like to drive? Would you buy one? What are your views compared to the New FIAT 500?

I drove a MINI One D in Europe last year. I loved it. I was really impressed with the diesel too. They won;t bring the diesels to the US though. The tree-hugging CA suits won't allow it......

The MINI One drivesd just like the current MINI. Hey, they are all pretty much BMW E46 technology. Kinda like being BMW's red-headed step-child!

I'd wait on the Fiat for them to work the bugs out....there will be bugs. Same goes for any new car though....

how can u compare fiat to bmw in a first place?
Far more reliable, safer, better on petrol , less likely to rust, faster, better braking than the old heap of a mini was. New mini is good and has low depreciation.

New Fiat may be great BUT let them sell it for 18 months first. Any new car tends to have a range of teething problems for the first year or so and then the manufacturers sort them out.
