Why my BMW emblem faded out?

Out of the sudden both of the emblems from my BMW car have faded out.. I am not sure if it is because of the cold weather here in Boston or what...

thats normal wear and tear. If it is left in the sun a lot that doesn't help. go to the bmw dealership and buy two new ones. they are around $15 a piece.

I have a BMW and my emblem has started to peel off and reveal a chrome finish underneath it. If this is what is happening to yours, dont worry about it. It doesnt mean your emblem is fake; it just means you either have an older car or it has been subject to bad weather conditions.
Go on ebay, and buy some new ones. My car is a 98, and my emblems just started wearing off too. I just bought some black and white ones, and they look pretty sweet. They're easy to install too, they just pop on.
